TGP: Table Gantry Processor
The TGP Board has three microprocessors that receive commands and data from the Display processor and execute the corresponding firmware
One controls the GANTRY, one controls the Table and the other controls the arbitration of commands from the gantry processor, table processor, scan processor.
The Management processor communicates with the DISPLAY PROCESSOR through serial links. The other processors (Gantry Processor and Table Processor) communicate with the Management Processor, and can receive commands from theOCvia the Management Processor. The Gantry Processor and Table Processor also contain a serial communication port which is not used for communication between OC or other Processors, but rather is used for Data correction from the sensor switches.
